What a great show of golf over the last week as we were fortunate enough to watch the roller coaster of events going on at the notorious Pebble beach golf links in California.
If you were on social media at all during this event you would have saw all the mind blowing shots by the great Jordan Spieth as he looked like he owned Pebble Beach. But, with a great -4 final round by Tom Hoge he was able to take the win. This being Hoge’s first PGA victory. Tom Hoge as a total score for his four rounds, shot a -19, while Spieth in second scored a -17.
This event is called the AT&T Pebble Beach pro-am for a reason. This meaning that their were amateurs participating as well. Amateurs meaning famous celebrities who love golf and want to add some fun to the event. The list of amateurs include: famous actor and comedian Bill Murray who has participated in this event multiple times in past years, actor and producer Scott Eastwood, singer and songwriter Charles Kelley, NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald, actor Andy Garcia, TV personality Kara Dixon, soccer star Mia Hamm, actor Alfonso Ribeiro, boxer Canelo Alvarez, scHoolboy Q, musician Jake Owen, musician Macklemore, comedian Ray Romano, MLB star Mookie Betts, and Kyle Adams who became the amateur champion with his pro partner Taylor Moore.
Pebble Beach Golf Links, is known for their beautiful views, tough obstacles and their windy weather. As the number 1 public course in the United States, it goes down as one of the top three most known golf links in America.
Tom Hoge with this win was able to receive 500 points towards his FedEx cup rank and brings up the question: Does he have a chance to win it all?
