Tom Brady Calls it Quits

After half of his 44 year life spent in the NFL, the undisputed goat of football history, Tom Brady calls it quits. ESPN reported today. It is sad but Brady is a family man and he said on his “Lets go!” Podcast, “My wife is my biggest supporter“. Who can argue with this decision. What else does he have to prove with 7 super bowl wins and 6 of them being with New England.

Lets look at Brady’s last game in pads. Unfortunately, it was a loss but, he threw for 329 yards, 1 touchdown, and an interception.

This decision was totally unexpected by many football fans and I. It really looked like the 44 year old was not slowing down.

For Brady’s goat career he has thrown for 84,520 yards and 624 touchdowns. It is truly crazy to think about how Brady has played for 4.5 years longer in the NFL than I have been alive and I am about to head off to college. It is remarkable and mind blowing!
