The super bowl has been set as the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams prepare for their matchup next sunday. But as for the other 30 NFL teams, most have representatives enjoying their time at the 2022 pro bowl with the different events that are put on. Then to wrap it all up the NFC versus the AFC pro bowl game happening this Sunday, February 6th. Multiple fun and entertaining games were played yesterday in celebration of the 2021-22 season.

Starting off with the infamous AFC vs NFC dodgeball game. This came down to the wire, but the NFC came out victorious with an amazing one handed catch by Vikings WR Justin Jefferson in a one on one matchup.

Next up was the 40 yard dash race between a wide receiver, a running back, a corner back, and a linebacker. The players participating were: WR- Tyreek Hill (Chiefs), RB- Nick Chubb (Browns), CB- Trevon Diggs (Cowboys), and LB- Micah Parsons (Cowboys). When you look at list, it seems obvious to who will win- Tyreek Hill nicknamed Cheetah for being the fastest NFL player in history. But, the results will surprise you, winning by a hair, Micah Parsons, the rookie phenom from the Dallas Cowboys took the win due to a wobbly start from Hill.

Next is the “Thread the Needle” event. This is where pro bowl quarterbacks would have a display of targets while an opposing conference defensive back would try to block their throws. In this event it was mainly between Kirk Cousins and Patriots rookie Mac Jones. Mac Jones was looking like a veteran out there when he was able to win the event even with 11 interception Trevon Diggs of the Dallas Cowboys was standing between him and the target.

Another event that took place was the spectacular catch competition. This result will surprise you as well. With not being a wide receiver, Trevon Diggs was able to win it all and stun everyone.

Also, the precision passing event performance by Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was fun to watch. Putting up 29 points, beating the record, and crushing the runner up performance by Mac Jones by 21 points. This shows that Russell Wilson has still got it when it comes to his quarterback skills.

Having the Conference championships and the super bowl two weeks apart, it is very nice to have a friendly competition in the pro bowl for all of the star athletes around the league. You can watch the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl Game happen this Sunday, February 6, 3 PM EST on ESPN.
