College Women's basketball superstar, Paige Bueckers returned on the court for Uconn, today, February 25, 2022.

Bueckers has been out since December 5th due to an unfortunate knee injury. Everyone around the world was scared on how this was going to affect her future career in basketball. But, luckily in the Huskies blowout win over St Johns 93-38, Paige was able to come back and play 12 minutes, and overall she looked she never left.

The 5’11” guard is averaging 21.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 56% shooting from the field this season. So her impact on this team is very high.

Let’s talk about the return, she was blessed to have an out roar and a standing ovation by her teammates, classmates, and fans in the first quarter at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. As of all returning injured athletes go through, they have a lesser workload to deal with during their debut back. The same went for Bueckers, she was able to get 12 minutes and as a result she went off for the time she got. Going for eight points in her debut. This is a relief for Geno Auriemma and the Huskies as their star player is back and better.

Uconn Girls Basketball is sitting at 21-5 on the 2021-22 season and with Bueckers now back it makes Uconn scary to face in the March Madness tournament coming up on the 17th.

Will the Huskies win another national championship now that Paige Bueckers is back? We will find out March 17th, when the first round starts for the notorious March Madness Basketball Tournament.
