Luke List wins the Farmers Insurance Open!

37 year old Luke List from Vanderbilt University, finally wins his first ever major over young sensation Will Zalatoris today, Saturday, January 29, 2022.

What a roller coaster of events the final round gave us. What you see on many golf social media pages is the tough break on the tournament winning putt by Will Zalatoris at Torrey Pines South. But what an ending with a birdie on the final playoff hole by Luke List as he runs over to celebrate with his wife and two children. List, who, as of before this win is #34 on the FedEx cup rank is bringing up the question of, will Luke List climb up the ranks with the momentum from this win?

List finished his final round with a great, -6 day to catch up to Zalatoris at -15 and then end up beating him in the playoff.

But for Zalatoris, the future is bright and I can guarantee that the 25 year old will be wearing the green jacket sometime in the future!

I am very happy for Luke List and I hope despite his age he is still able to get many more major wins in the future.
