The 2017 Heisman winner out of The University of Oklahoma, and the 1st overall pick in 2018 to the Arizona Cardinals, surprisingly can be wanting out of Arizona after recent news. This being, Murray unfollowing the Cardinals Instagram page and deletes all franchise related posts on his profile.
What does this mean for Murray’s future in the valley state? This news is a surprise because it looked like Murray enjoyed playing as a Cardinal throughout the season alongside all pro wide receiver Deandre Hopkins. As of now, Murray has only two posts on his profile. Those being a photo of him and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, and a picture dating back to when he was the quarterback at Oklahoma.
If Murray leaves the Cardinals (unless they get a great quarterback soon after) the franchise will tank. This is because, the season before Kyler joined the Cardinals, the team went 3-13. Then this season, Murray led them to an 11-5 record, and a playoff berth.
After the Super Bowl and when it is the prime of the offseason we will see what Murray’s future holds as an Arizona Cardinal. If the opportunity arises most teams will be trying to bring him in immediately. Murray has proven to be a franchise quarterback and he can definitely win an MVP in the near future due to his dual threat abilities.
Throwing silent signs to your franchises on social media has been a common occurrence among professional athletes as of recent. Most of the time it does lead to their departure.
Will Kyler Murray leave Arizona? And, If he does who will be the front runner in signing him?
