2022 NBA All-Star Game Predictions

The highlight of the NBA’s regular season, all-star weekend, is going on right now in Cleveland, Ohio. So far there has been the celebrity all-star game, and the rising stars game.

To give a quick recap of what has happened so far, in the celebrity game, NFL star Myles Garrett showed off his skill in the game with crazy dunks and blocks. Then, for the rising stars game, the new format worked out successfully, as the number one overall pick in this years draft, Detroit Pistons Cade Cunningham from Oklahoma State University put on a show to win the MVP and the win for Team Barry.

Before the NBA All-star game takes place between Team LeBron and Team Durant, there are other events ready to happen. These include: the Dunk Contest, the rising stars challenge, and the 3 point contest. My early predictions for these events are:

Dunk Contest- Jalen Green (Houston Rockets)

3 point- Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks)

Skills Challenge- Josh Giddey (Oklahoma City Thunder)

Moving on to the main event. The 2022 NBA All-star game. With how the rosters are filled out. Team LeBron has better starters, but Team Durant has better depth. But due to the star power on Team LeBron, I have them defeating Team Durant this weekend. Then for the MVP, I got Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz taking it home.
